With kids back to school, colder weather in the forecast and the start of September, it’s easy to get a case of the “I miss summer” blues. Luckily, there are some fantastic events this month that will help you welcome the fall season!
The fun week of September has an exciting start in Auburn Bay to celebrate the communities 10th year anniversary! Join the community on September 12, 2015 for fireworks at 8:30pm. There will also be plenty of fun activities throughout the month including a social media contest. Take pictures of your favorite design features in any of Auburn Bay’s showhomes, then share the photos using the hashtag #CottageLifeYYC. Each photo is a chance to win a catered beach party for 10 on Auburn Lake! Find more information on how to participate here.
New Brighton also has a great event on September 12, 2015! Stop by the New Brighton Club between noon and 3pm, for their second annual Harvest Fest to celebrate the start of the fall season. There will be a pie and jam making contest as well as corn on the cob and some great fall activities like pumpkin rolling! Click here to RSVP.
Next, on Sunday, September 13, 2015, Cranston will also be hosting “Old Fashion Family Corn Boil 2015” to enjoy the end of the summer. Stop by the Century Hall Park between 4pm and 6pm for fresh corn, a petting zoo and some “old fashioned’ themed games. Click here to RSVP.
Our last event we have lined up for this summer is on September 19, 2015! In Riverstone of Cranston our showhome parade has teamed up to host a BBQ on the Bow event! Come visit us between noon and 3pm to enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs while taking in the beautiful scenery that Riverstone has to offer. There will also be face painting, a magician and a balloon twister. With all the excitement going on outside remember to take the time to visit our wonderful new showhomes!
Saying good-bye to the summer doesn’t have to be so hard when you have an exciting month to look forward to!
