Earlier this month we announced that the Wellspring Calgary Home, at 183 Auburn Springs Blvd SE, would go up for public auction on June 3rd, 2014. We also hinted that prior to the auction, pre-bidding would be available. Well it’s official; by clicking here you can register and start placing bids on this beautiful new home! This is an exciting opportunity for Calgary home buyers! Right now, prices for a move-up home in Auburn Bay’s current phase are starting in the $560’s. Well, the bidding for our 2152 square foot home will be starting at $399,900 (no that wasn’t a typo)! Of course, the home is valued at much more than $399,900 (appraised at $595,000) and as the full value of the sale will be donated to Wellspring Calgary, our goal is to raise as close to market value as possible, but at the end of the day it’s all in the hands of the bidders! The home will also be sold with all window coverings, the furniture featured on the main floor and the appliances. Then on June 30, 2014 the home will be ready for the winning bidder to take possession.
Now that you’re interested, what are the next steps? Interested buyers should be at the home auction by 6pm on June 3rd, 2014 in order to register before the auction starts. You will need to bring a valid driver’s license or photo ID, along with a cheque that can be made out for $10,000 to Cedarglen Realty. The program will begin at 6:30pm, followed by the main event, the live auction at 6:45pm. Mark it in your calendar and start bidding!
