Bringing a Bit of Downtown to Cranston

Last weekend, we saw plenty of families out in Riverstone to enjoy the Family Fun Day event. As kids (and their parents!) walked into our showhome, their eyes lit up at the sight of our candy bar and the face painting done by the amazing team over at The Tattooed Lady (@thetattooedladyca). A big thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special!
The great turnout we had for Family Fun Day gave lots of families the opportunity to see what makes Riverstone such a special community. So we thought we’d plan a few more local events to keep introducing Calgarians to this hidden gem! For these events, we teamed up with our showhome parade partner, Albi Homes, to bring something new and exciting to the community. Our first events lined up in May, will be bringing a little bit of downtown to Cranston. To do this we turned to some SWEET local food trucks. At the food truck events, we will also be advertising for a special opportunity in Riverstone, that you don’t want to miss out on.
First, get out your calendar out and put a big star on May 14, 2015. Jelly Modern Doughnuts will be set up on Front Street, right outside the South Health Hospital in Seton, from 7am to 10am. On the menu is complementary doughnuts, coffee and hot chocolate (the perfect balanced breakfast if you ask me!). Next, put a reminder in your calendar for June 4, 2015, which we are hoping will be a bright and sunny day! The Fiasco Gelato food truck will be set up at the above mentioned location from 2pm to 4pm to serve out some of their Calgary famous gelato.
Also remember that now is a better time than ever to be purchasing a home, or referring a friend to purchase a home in the Riverstone of Cranston, as you can be rewarded up to $5,000. If you currently live in a Brookfield Residential community and move to Riverstone, the referral would be up to a $5,000 payment to the homebuyer. If you currently live in a Brookfield Residential community (Auburn Bay, Cranston, Riverstone of Cranston or New Brighton) and refer a friend to live in Riverstone, then each party will receive a referral of $2,500.
