So much has happened since Cedarglen Homes started building in Genstar’s ‘modern meets suburbs’ community of Walden. Just over a year has passed and we have already started construction on a new phase and we will be opening the doors to a new showhome parade this fall. With such a great first year in Walden, we thought we would take another look at why you should call Walden home.

This community in Calgary’s South East is growing and we love having the opportunity to see more Calgarians call Walden home! Thanks to this growing population, there has been a steady stream of amenities and businesses choosing to set up locations near Walden. The main ‘hang out’ for Waldenites is Walden Gate which offers residents a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, financial institutions and clinics. Walden is also known for its preserved wetlands and parks that are sprinkled throughout the community. Not to mention that the community is just a quick bike ride away from the stunning Fish Creek Park and provides easy access to highways and LRT station.

Our current phase in Walden will include the same impressive features that made our previous phase so successful; such as, granite countertops, state of the art cabinetry and front yard landscaping. With pricing starting in the$450,000’s, we are confident that this phase will quickly fill up.
