The End of an Era in New Brighton

By Stephanie Miller, Marketing Coordinator

Since 2001, Cedarglen Homes has welcomed over 1000 families into their New Brighton homes. That’s right…1000 single family homes in the one community! Now with ONLY 2 lots and 3 quick possession homes left, today we will officially be closing our New Brighton showhome doors in this family-friendly community.

During our time in New Brighton, the community has grown to include new parks, schools (currently under construction) and plenty of new families that have decided to make it their home. With impressive community features such as the New Brighton Club featuring tennis courts, splash park and ice rink; a beautiful pond with walking paths; and tons of community events, there is no mystery as to why so many people chose call the community of New Brighton home.

We enjoyed sponsoring and participating in many of the community events over the years. Some of our personal favorites were the Stampede Breakfast, Community Street Market, Movie in the Park…and let’s not forget about Danielle Halstead’s famous annual Christmas party!

Our Area Sales Managers Mike Dwyer, Danielle Halstead and most recently Sarah Ethier have all played an important role, in that they were the friendly face that greeted you in our New Brighton showhomes throughout the years. With each New Brighton showhome parade, we displayed some of our most sought after models in the community. Whether it was the Aspen, the Murano or the Enchant, each showhome helped families decide which model they wanted to call home.

After over a decade we are sad to say goodbye to one of our favorite communities; however, we will cherish all the memories that we’ve created in New Brighton. Of course, we will still be around for all of our homeowners! A special thank you to all the people who have built with Cedarglen Homes in New Brighton and to those who have been a part of making the community such a success.

Have a great weekend,
