Thank you Cranston!

By Dennis Mullen, Cranston Area Manager

February 26th marks the last day for the Cedarglen Showhomes in Cranston! It has been a successful 15 year project for Cedarglen, to which I have been fortunate enough to have been a part of since 2011.

I recall driving in Cranston in 2002 to look at a quick possession property, and feeling like I was not really in Calgary anymore...until I went to Auburn Bay! Today, Cranston is among the largest communities in Calgary, boasting the most green space, and paved pathways anywhere in the City. As a resident since 2008 , I can personally attest to the feeling that many Cranstonites have; the feeling of being in the City, but away from the bustle that comes with living in a thriving City. Despite this, it is not a remote community, a 30 minute or less commute will get you almost anywhere in Calgary, thanks to Cranston’s direct access to Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail. The proximity to the planned south LRT, the New South Hospital, and the major shopping center underway in Seton, gives Cranston a distinct advantage over most new or existing communities in Calgary. The coming years will bring new schools, community centers, fitness and recreation areas to a community that many new and old Calgarians already call home!

Alas, there is only 3 lots left to sell this message to! Those savvy enough to see through today’s headlines and understand that Real Estate is an investment in the future, can be certain that there is no better investment than in the Heart of South Calgary, Cranston. A special thank you to all the people who have taken the journey and built with Cedarglen in Cranston.

I would be remissed not to mention that a modern version of Cranston is now available for sale in Walden, with prices starting in the $490’s! Please join for the Grand Opening of the Walden project on March 28th at 12 pm, 183 Walden Heights SE.
