Calgary’s mild winter has left lots of us (okay maybe just some) missing the classic winter activities. Luckily, there are plenty of fun events happening in our communities this weekend that will have you looking for Canada’s favorite winter accessory...skates!
For the sports enthusiast, there are hockey tournaments that will be happening this weekend in both Auburn Bay and Cranston. Stop by Auburn Bay on Saturday, February 7th, to watch teams compete in their 7th annual Auburn House 3 on 3 Hockey Tournament. While you’re there, cheer on our Area Sales Manager, Mike Dwyer, who will be playing in the tournament! If the Saturday doesn’t work for you, then Cranston Century Hall has a full action packed weekend. From February 6th to 8th Cranston will also be hosting a 3 on 3 hockey tournament, that’s sure to have you on the edge of your seat.
If you’re looking for something more relaxing than start celebrating Valentine’s Day early in New Brighton. On February 7th , from 6pm to 8pm, the New Brighton Club will host their ‘Enlightening Love’ event. Couples, families and friends are all welcomed to enjoy an evening of skating, hay-rides and campfire treats around a bonfire. This event if free of charge; however space is limited so click here to RSVP.
