Halloween in our Communities
By Stephanie Miller, Marketing Coordinator
Calgary has turned into a ghost town. Not because our city has slowed down but due to all the different events going on for Halloween! Are you looking for a Be Witching good time (sorry I couldn’t resist)? What you might not realize is that you don’t have to go all the way downtown for an All Hallows Eve experience. Here is some insight at what’s going on in our South East communities!
Auburn Bay will be scaring up some fun at their yearly haunted house. As one of the sponsors of this event, we can’t wait to see how they’ve decorated their beautiful Auburn House into this year’s Hansel and Gretel themed haunted house. There will be a portion of the haunted house open for sneak peek on October 29th and October 30th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. For full access to the haunted house be sure to stop by on October 31st between 6:00pm and 8:30pm for the feature night. On Halloween, you can look forward to taking pictures of your costume in the photo booth that will be set up on site, as well as some tricks and treats! This event is suitable for most ages and no RSVP is required.
Not sure you’re up for a haunted house? Then head over to the New Brighton Club on Halloween, October 31st 2013, between 5:00pm and 9pm for a night of fun. Children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and bring a bag for treats. A photo booth will be set up on site, to capture this special evening as well. Suitable for all ages and no RSVP is required for this event.
With all this happening in our communities, it’s sure to be a terror-ific night!
Enjoy your weekend,
