F.A.Q.; What our Homeowners Want to Know About Landscaping
By the Customer Response Team Representatives
We can feel the excitement in the air as the weather looks like it will be getting warmer soon! Hopefully we haven’t jinxed it and Mother Nature cooperates. Last year we found success in providing our customers with updates regarding landscaping. This is our first update for the 2014 season!
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about landscaping.
1. When are you going to start landscaping my home?
In previous years the earliest we have started landscaping has been the middle to the end of May. In others we have started as late as June and July depending on when the frost leaves the loam piles and the rain that can cause delays.
2. Can we complete a deck and other landscaping on our own prior to the completion of Cedarglen’s landscaping?
Please do not install or build anything in your yard until we have completed our portion of the landscaping. We may need to use backyards as access to other backyards and building anything in the way may cause unnecessary delays in landscaping completion. The final grade needs to be completed, surveyed and approved prior to us laying sod. If you build something prior to the completion of our landscaping it may be at the wrong height and need to be removed. To avoid unnecessary costs please wait until we are completed our portion to begin any work on your yard.
3. How do I take care of my yard once complete?
We will be including care and maintenance instructions with the email updates along with dropping off a hard copy on your doorstep just prior to installation.
By the beginning of June we hope the frost leaves the ground to a point where we can start the first steps of landscaping. Stay tuned as we will be providing regular updates.
Have a good weekend,
