Canada Day in Calgary

Tomorrow marks an important day for Canada as we celebrate the country’s 150th Anniversary! To honour such a special day, the City of Calgary has been hard at work to make it the most vibrant, entertaining, educational and interactive Canada Day that the city has ever seen.

Let’s start off in the community of Cranston. Cranston's Century Hall is hosting an event for residents to celebrate all things “C” – Cranston, Calgary, Canada, Community, Connection, with all things “C” – Cookies, Cake & ice Cream. Stop by on Canada Day between 1pm and 3pm. They also suggest bringing your water gun for a community water fight.

There is also a long list of events being hosted throughout Calgary. At Fort Calgary you can enjoy multicultural performances, a kid’s nature walk and a petting zoo. Don't forget to get a great viewing spot for the fireworks over Centre Street Bridge from 11:10pm to 11:40pm. With so many activities, the biggest decision you’ll have to make this Saturday is deciding where you want to celebrate. Luckily, the City of Calgary has created an interactive events map to help you plan your day. Click here for a look.

In honour of this special holiday, the following showhomes will be closed on Saturday, July 1, 2017; Cranston’s Riverstone, The Rise West Grove Estates and Livingston. On Sunday, June 2, 2017, regular business hours will resume and all showhomes will be open from 12pm to 5pm.

We hope that you all enjoy celebrating this beautiful country that we live in!

Have a great long weekend,
