Affordable, family style homes in the Calgary communities you love, with prices under $450’s; Our reason #1 for buying a Cedarglen Home!

By Stephanie Miller, Marketing Coordinator

Calgary is growing quickly and Cedarglen Homes is proud to be a part of it! Building in New Brighton, Auburn Bay, Cranston, Riverstone of Cranston and Parks of Panorama; we have the opportunity to see plots of land become communities. This week we’d like to focus on what makes our communities so unique.

What better source to go to for this information than to our front line at Cedarglen Homes; our Area Sales Managers. Below you’ll see why they feel that their Calgary communities are communities that you will love!

Let’s first have a look at New Brighton. With move up homes starting in the $440’s this is a great community to be in; “Well New Brighton is almost complete. The parks are now completed and the community is looking beautiful. With the new athletic park being constructed on the perimeter of New Brighton, this will be one of the most desirable areas to live in. If you have small children that are involved or want to be involved in sports, music or dance, than New Brighton is the community to choose. We also have the New Brighton club which features a water park, an Olympic size skating rink (with a Zamboni so parents don’t have to shovel), beach volley ball, tennis courts and many indoor activities for the winter. If you want a true community with no busy traffic then New Brighton is the community for you and your family!”

Next we have the community of Auburn Bay. Auburn Bay is best described as cottage living with an urban twist! Nobody knows this better than Area Sales Manager, Mike Dwyer; “The Auburn Bay community has a lot to offer. One of the best advantages to owning a home in Auburn Bay is the 43 acre lake with includes a water park, volley ball court, tennis court, basketball court and a 13 acre park for the kids to play in. On top of all that you have access to the Auburn House. This gymnasium provides a wide variety of programs as well as hosts events throughout the year. Auburn Bay is situated close to the South Calgary Health Campus and is attracting plenty of health professionals who want to live close to work. Not to mention that the first phase of Seton opens this month (find out more here).” You can live in a Cedarglen home in Auburn Bay with prices starting from $475’s.

In Cranston they have something for everyone with both move up homes starting in the 450’s and estate homes in Riverstone of Cranston starting in the $610’s.

When you visit our Cranston move up homes you’ll be sure to meet Dennis Mullen, the Area Sales Manager. With so much construction wrapping up, Dennis says that it is definitely the time to buy; “The final pieces of Cranston are taking shape. The major Stoney Trail interchanges and overpasses will be completed this fall, along with the expected release of the last phase in Upper Cranston. This is the last chance for people who want to live in this established new community. The community center is always abuzz running multiple classes for adults and children alike, and with hockey season around the corner, you will always find a game to join. With such close proximity to the new South Calgary Hospital and Seton Urban District, there is no better location to establish a family and feel secure in your investment. A short walk west along the miles of pathway systems in Cranston, you will find a breathtaking view of the beautiful Rockies and Bow River. The undisturbed beauty of Fish Creek Park gives the impression that you have escaped the city and are connected with nature.”

Kimberly Holstein is the Area Sales Manager of Riverstone of Cranston. If you are looking to build an estate home and enjoy a spectacular view then look no further! “Riverstone is a community that allows you to hear a breeze gently blowing in the fields of grass, a bird singing softly, a small deer stopping to take a glance before it darts into the hill and bushes behind you. A community that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Calgary, descending into a peaceful panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains, the Bow River and wide open spaces. Come evening time beautiful sunsets leave you in awe and in the morning walking paths through Fish Creek Park get you started on your morning jog. Riverstone, a small niche estate neighborhood tucked away, a secret for those looking to get away into the quiet and tranquility, but don’t keep it too much a secret, come and see for yourself our picturesque landscape and beautiful homes, then share with a friend the Riverstone Experience.”

Parks of Panorama is located within the wonderfully community of Panorama Hills and with a limited availability of lots now is the time to react. Click HERE to see our August blog announcing the new phase explains just how much this community has to offer.

With this beautiful weekend coming up, take the time to explore our communities and see for yourself what makes them so special!

Enjoy your weekend,
