A Very Fond Farewell to Auburn Bay

In 2005, Cedarglen Homes had the honor of welcoming our first homeowners into their new home in Auburn Bay. Now here we are, 12 years later, and Cedarglen Homes has been fortunate to build a total of 637 homes to create a life in this amenity rich community. With Auburn Bay just about sold out, this week it was time to officially close the doors to our showhomes. To recap what a pleasure it has been to help shape this community, we checked in with Auburn Bay Area Sales Manager, Mike Dwyer. Here is what he had to say, “After being a part of Auburn Bay for the past 9 years, it has been incredible watching it change. Although I’m sad it’s come to an end, I’ll forever appreciate the great families I’ve met throughout those years.”

A lot can change in 12 years, but one thing has remained consistent throughout our journey in Auburn Bay. Auburn Bay is a desirable community. This award-winning community offers four-season lakeside living. Thanks to its 43 acre lake along with a water park, volley ball court, tennis court, basketball court and a 13 acre park, Auburn Bay is considered to be a 'Cottage Country' community within the city limits. As a resident, you also gain access to the Auburn House, which provides a wide variety of programs and events throughout the year. In addition to the abundance of family-friendly activities, Auburn Bay is within close proximity to the Calgary South Health Campus, just minutes away from all of the amenities found in the growing Urban District of Seton and has two new schools to offers its residents.

Right now you may be kicking yourself for not making Auburn Bay your home while you had the chance. Well you’re in luck! Our showhomes are closed, but we have a few remaining quick possessions that are just waiting to be called home. For all the details, you can contact Mike Dwyer, Area Sales Manager, at 403.252.9040.

Have a great weekend,
