A Bittersweet Goodbye

As most of you know, Cedarglen Homes is about to say goodbye to a very special part of our team. On May 30, 2014, it will be Sales and Marketing Supervisor, Raleigh Thomas’ last day. As sad as we are to see her go, we are very excited for her as she embarks on the newest chapter of her life; motherhood!
Cedarglen Homes hasn’t been the same since Raleigh started in 2005. She brings a cheerful spirit, a determined attitude and a steady flow of ideas when she walks into work every day! What started as a simple referral from a friend has now turned into a successful career for Raleigh. Having first worked her way up from Junior Estimator to Estimating Supervisor, we’ve all seeing Raleigh’s keen eye for detail (nothing gets by her when she looks at those plans!). Since February 2013, when she moved into the role of Sales and Marketing Supervisor, we’ve all witnessed her impressive customer service skills. By addressing concerns right away and finding solutions, she has been an excellent example for the team. Those customer service skills were appreciated by our homeowners, especially when she called each of them to let them know about her transition to maternity leave and forwarded them over to the capable hands of one of our Customer Relation Representatives.
Raleigh won’t be the only one transitioning, as we will all to need to get used to not having her upbeat attitude in the office every day. We wish her the best of luck and can’t wait to welcome her back after her maternity leave!
