This is my second Cedarglen home and among the communities I looked at New Brighton felt right. Cedarglen was very flexible and with the help of Danielle, the area manager, I was able to modify their designs. I did consider other builders but there wasn't that same flexibility when it came to design modifications. Cedarglen's landscaping and fencing program was another reason I bought with Cedarglen. It was very important because all of the landscaping is done by Cedarglen. This will make the street look consistent and every home will have a lot of curb appeal.
We visited our first Cedarglen showhome in 2005 and really liked what we saw. When we found the right lot in the right community we made our move - we didn't consider any other builders. We felt really comfortable with Cedarglen's quality and our sales manager Kimberley was very helpful. We were able to make minor changes to the home, like widening doorways. That meant a lot to us as this is our retirement home. We'd recommend Cedarglen to friends and family and we would certainly build with them again...
We looked at a number of builders but we just didn't like their concepts at all. We kept coming back to Cedarglen because they accommodated our specific needs. They made all the modifications we requested when other builders said it couldn't be done. Their competitors just didn't seem as knowledgeable. And after we moved in they handled our service issues very quickly and with minimal disruption. Our sales manager Jim was also a big factor in our decision— I was really impressed with him. We believe Cedarglen offered the best value at the time and I would absolutely build with them again. In fact, I was so pleased with our experience that I would consider working for Cedarglen!
Cedarglen did a great job at possession. When we took possession of our home there were zero deficiencies. Our neighbours who built with other builders had service vans parked in front of their homes for months after possession and some of their issues were never resolved. But our home and the Cedarglen homes on the street, were all moved into without any complications. I think that says a lot about Cedarglen's quality and their trades and how they take the time to get it right. You can start enjoying your home and your neighbourhood rather than worrying about headaches.
